Jesus in the Night

Focus: A nod to Goth and other marginalized Christians.
I walk the night, like a vampire.
I like strolling through cemeteries.
I like to nap beside tombstones.
I like unicorns and rings of fairies.

I think the kobold and the goblin
are just pests to be ignored.
I like dragons in dark skies
and dancin' naked with the Lord.

Oh! OH!

Chorus:
I love Jesus in the Night.
I love the Holy Spirit's Fire!
I let Jesus be my Light
and the Holy Spirit take me higher!

I -
   I -
      I like goth girls.
I like the seedy side of my city.
I like dark and gloom and,
sometimes, sinister things.
I show a lot of mercy, not much pity.

I like seduction from the pole.
I like to pick up chicks and take 'em home.
I like boys who look like girls
and girls who act like men and
   it's your problem
if you think my lifestyle is a sin!

I love Jesus in the Night.
I love the Holy Spirit's Fire!
I let Jesus be my Light
and the Holy Spirit take me higher!

You think somethin's wrong with me
'cause I don't act like how you think a Christian "should be..."
Well, don’t project your fear or your illusion on me;
the sin is all in your mind.
I live in Spirit through Christ
and

I love Jesus in the Night...
(chorus out)
