I Wish That She'd Come In

Focus: There used to be a family music group called "Sylvers." One of them was married to a woman named Sharon, with whom I became friends while working in a store. One day, I really wanted to see her and wished she'd come into the store. Greatly romanticizing my thoughts, I wrote this song during that shift. (She came in a couple days later and, I sang it to her, a cappella, in her car. She liked it.)

I wish that she'd come in.
I wish that she'd come in.
Oh, my heart needs to know I'm a part of
all of her love; all her love.

I wish she'd come again.
I wish that she'd come in.
Oh, my honey, knows I love to see her
when she comes walking through the door;
love evermore.

I turn and, suddenly, she seems to be
an angel in disguise.
I get quite a feeling when I see
the love behind her eyes;
'cause she's the only girl I'm dreaming of.

I wish that she'd be mine;
a chance to spend the night -
every time I see her look of love
I go crazy.

"Stop all your feelings, baby.
You're not right for me" her lips say,
but I don't believe it when I look into her eyes.
She needs me!
Oh, lady, don't tease me.
Take the time to share my life;
I'm in love!

I wish that she'd come in.
I wish that she'd come in.
